Thank you for all you do and for explaining the inside of a falling healthcare system. "Avalange of solidarity" is indeed what we need. I am also glad they can't come after your license. We need a new medicine of care as you embody it so beautifully!
Rupa, I (and millions of others) salute and support your ongoing courageous activities in support of an end to the pathological and brutal genocidal behavior of this country and its puppet regime collaborators against the Palestinian people, on behalf of the rabid and illegitimate nazisraeli government. It's a tragedy and a travesty that you are experiencing these misguided reprisals from uninformed (brainwashed!) citizens but especially from so-called institutions of learning, which is unfortunately typical in these chaotic and dystopian times. You have the gratitude and appreciation of people of conscience everywhere.
Thank you, thank you, thank you Dr. Marya. I’ve been following along with your advocacy and UCSF’s ugly repression of anti-genocide voices this whole time, and as a patient at UCSF (and anti-Zionist Jew), I feel such disgust. The whole of my healthcare is under UCSF, and as someone with several autoimmune conditions that means I receive care from five different departments. I feel the urge to abandon UCSF on principle, boycott the institution’s heinous repressive ways, even though I’m content with my care. But as patients—who can we even express our grievances to? Who would even hear us, or care?
Thanks for speaking up in solidarity against “grave heath injustices… Our tax dollars go to Israel’s healthcare system, while we are forced into medical debt—the leading cause of personal bankruptcy in the US—so that health insurance corporations in the US can make record profits denying our patients care.”
Thank you Dr Marya. You wrote so eloquently about a topic so devastating and ugly. I have promoted your post on all of my social media. Your viewpoints are spot ON. #FarrahNaykaAshline
